Need to Know Info

We have installed a security gate to provide our guests with a safe stay. The gate is always closed from dusk until dawn. A keypad is available to open the gate after dark.

If you have reserved online and may arrive after dusk and before dawn, please call the park office weekdays between 8 AM and 4 PM at least 48 hours before your arrival date. You will be given the most recent entry code.

Same Day Reservations

Same day reservations must be made prior to 9:00pm - reservations made after this time will not receive a gate code to access the park. No refunds will be issued if it is a same day reservation made after 9:00pm.‍

Dogs

Due to insurance limitation the following dogs are prohibited: Rottweilers, Chows, Dobermans, and Pit Bulls. We apologize for this requirement! SERVICE DOGS OF ALL TYPES ARE ACCEPTED.

Ouabache Trails Cabins

A stay at our fully furnished cabins is more than just a night in the woods. Offering TV, full kitchen, air-conditioning, heating, and plumbing, Ouabache Trails Cabins are more like a cottage home in the woods. All you need to bring are your own linens (bedsheets, towels, pillows) and toiletries.

All cabins are ADA-compliant. Reservations may be made up to one year in advance. Reservations can be made ON-LINE or by calling our office at 812-882-4316 Monday thru Friday 8 AM to 4 PM.

All cabins include:

Kitchens with pots, pans, and utensils
Showers and baths
Fireplace
Outdoor deck, grill, & picnic table
Heating and air-conditioning

No pets allowed in cabins.
Use of celebratory items (confetti, etc.) anywhere on the premises, may incur an additional $50 cleaning charge on your credit card.
Guests must be 21 years old to rent cabins.
Parking is limited to 2 vehicles per cabin
Guests utilizing the Military Discount are required to occupy the specific reserved site designated in their reservation. The reservation must be registered under the service member’s name corresponding to the military ID card or DD-214 form. Verification of eligibility will be conducted by park personnel upon request

Cabin check-in time is 2 PM. Cabin check-out time is 11 AM.

Guests desiring to check-in before 2 PM may do so if the cabin is not reserved for the previous day. Pre-2 PM check-in will be charged at $50/per hour. Example: 1 PM check-in will be $50 extra, and 12 Noon Check-in will be $100 extra, etc.

Ouabache Trails Campground

Come stay in the park! The Ouabache Trails campground offers a variety gravel sites tucked in the trees and sun-soaked sloping hill.

Note: Park Staff reserves the right to reject reservations for RV’s older than 15 years and/or based on appearance. If a reservation is made online and your camper is over 15 years old, please contact the office during business hours for approval. Otherwise, depending on the age and presentation of the camper, you may be required to vacate the premises.

Campground Sites & Amenities:

35 RV sites with electricity (20, 30, and 50A), water, picnic tables, and fire rings
Tents are not permitted on RV sites
Primitive tent sites with fire rings
Full-service shower house, laundry facilities, firewood, ice
Playground and close proximity to park shelter houses

Primative Sites Rates:

$22 per night
7 day maximum stay
No discounts on primative sites
Tent must be erected to stay

48 hours is required for a refund on any cancellation. Less than 48 hours & no refund will be issued. When booking online your cancellation can only be refunded 50%.
